Google announced today an upgrade to its existing Google Apps for your Domain package by adding support for Documents and Spreadsheets and offering 10gb of email storage. This package is subscription based at $50 per user and will directly compete in the online area against Microsoft Office, though Google still has yet to announce a web-based alternative to Powerpoint. However, with a 99.9% uptime promise and 24/7 support the price may be a selling point for large businesses.
